Lady Gaga is ready to put on her Joker face with a brand new album.
The "Poker Face" singer, 38, on Tuesday announced a surprise companion album for the film "Joker: Folie à Deux" is set to drop this Friday. The album is titled "Harlequin," a nod to her character of Harley Quinn in the highly anticipated "Joker" sequel.
Gaga shared the album's cover art on social media, which showed her standing in a shower. In another photo posted on Instagram, a milk carton is seen with what appeared to be the album's tracklist, suggesting it will feature covers of existing songs included in the movie like "Get Happy."
Gaga stars as the Joker's love interest opposite Joaquin Phoenix in "Joker: Folie à Deux," a musical sequel that sees the two main characters sometimes bursting into song.
This won't be Gaga's first album connected to a feature film. In 2018, she performed several original songs for the the soundtrack to "A Star Is Born," the musical drama she starred in alongside Bradley Cooper. The track "Shallow" won the Oscar for best original song.

The announcement comes after Gaga last month teamed up with Bruno Mars for the single "Die with a Smile." She said in a statement at the time she decided to collaborate with him while she was "finishing up my own album in Malibu and one night after a long day he asked me to come to his studio to hear something he was working on."
Gaga had recently been posting a series of cryptic phrases, including "I'm ready for my interview" and "don't tell me what to wear," on Instagram, which fans speculated had to do with an upcoming album release.
A recent Vogue profile of Gaga teased that she had been working on both a "surprise project" and a new pop album, the latter of which will debut in February. In a recent post on X, she revealed that the first single from the album, dubbed LG7, will drop in October.
